HANOI, Vietnam, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Northern Telecom International Limited today announced the supply of its flagship DMS-100 digital switching equipment for the northern Vietnam port city of Hai Phong.
The DMS family of switching products is manufactured at NT facilities in Bramales, Ontario, and Raleigh, North Carolina. "We applaud President Clinton's lifting of the 19-year U.S. trade embargo with Vietnam. This action will open the door for sales of Northern Telecom products from facilities throughout North America," said James R. Long, president of Nortel World Trade.
