Jul. 5--Riding the school bus is going to be a longer experience for students in the Twin Falls School District. But with gasoline prices hovering at record highs, there's not much those kids can do about it. The Twin Falls district was one of four that were recently denied requests to appeal penalties for exceeding state limits on school transportation costs. That denial means Twin Falls School District must shell out $47,000 from its fund to pay the remainder of district transportation costs not paid for by state reimbursements.
