Jul. 5--Not too many times in life does a person face a critical decision where he or she really can't go wrong. That doesn't make the decision any easier, which is where Komets General Manager David Franke is this week. Franke said Tuesday he's not sure who will be the Komets' next coach, but that he'll have to make up his mind by Thursday, when he expects to make an announcement. It's time to get started on putting together next year's team and negotiating contracts. Both Pat Bingham and John Marks interviewed very well last week, and there are really only a few differences between the two. Some things Franke has to consider:
