Lacrosse girls are as bad as the boys: UCSB suspends team for hazing.(University of California-Santa Barbara )

Duke University (N.C.) isn't the only school with a lacrosse team in trouble.

The University of California-Santa Barbara has placed the women's lacrosse team on probation and required members to perform community service, for "low-level hazing" that occurred at a 2004 party.

The university discovered the hazing through Internet postings about the party. Then a committee investigated further and determined "that hazing was, indeed, occurring in the pictures posted on the Internet, and that it also occurred in the subsequent two years as a kick-off to the lacrosse season." Hazing is against the university's policy.
