Duke University (N.C.) has reinstated its lacrosse team for the fall season. The team will be under new, more stringent standards. The lacrosse team was suspended this spring after a dancer alleged she was raped by team members at a wild party. While that criminal case is ongoing, the university determined the general alcohol-fueled recklessness exhibited by the team members at that party and in prior incidents was unacceptable, and suspended the team.
