The Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division will be using the TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) program to train students on several campuses in the state on how to avoid dangerous situations involving alcohol and what they should do if such situations occur.
"TIPS training offers a highly specialized alcohol education program that pertains specifically to the college and university environment," said Ken Peterson, Colorado Liquor Enforcement Chief. "In addition, they have over 20 years of experience in providing training that prevents underage drinking, drunk driving and intoxication. Their program has been proven effective and we want to see results."
