COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. _ When Floyd Patterson looks over to the group of young boxers, waiting to hear him speak, to receive some tips on the proper way to throw a hook and move away from a counterpunch, he sees something of himself.
``Boxing has given me everything _ without it I'd be nothing,'' the former two-time heavyweight champion of the world said before addressing an assembly of aspiring boxers and other Army personnel Thursday in the Fort Carson field house.
``Without boxing, I'd be in jail somewhere, locked up. I like to give something back to the sport that's been so good to me.''
