Jul. 8--The last time Trevor Crowe played at Canal Park he was a wide-eyed rookie, just trying to soak it all in. Selected by the Indians 14th overall in the 2005 draft out of the University of Arizona, Crowe had just 56 professional games to his credit when he was promoted to Double-A at the end of his first season. Now more is expected of the 22-year-old center fielder, who was promoted to Akron again Friday after hitting .329 in 60 games at high Class A Kinston.
