PHILADELPHIA _ Can a good ol' boy from the stock-car circuit team up with an ex-football player from Naples, Fla., and find success in Olympic bobsledding? 
It is an odd mix, certainly, but look at it this way: 
The United States has not won an Olympic medal in the bobsled since 1956, so why not try something new?
