TAICHUNG, July 11 Asia Pulse - Taichung City will soon have a top-class French restaurant owned by world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse, Taichung Mayor Jason Hu said Monday.
Hu made the announcement at a press conference held upon his return from a 16-day European tour to promote Taichung's business relations with Britain, France and Belgium in the service industry.
He disclosed that during his visit to France, he met with 50-year-old Ducasse -- one of the most famous French chefs who owns restaurants in Monaco, New York City and Paris -- and invited him to open a restaurant in Taichung.
