SEOUL, July 12 Asia Pulse - Daum Communications Corp., one of South Korea's leading portal operators, said Wednesday that its U.S. subsidiary Lycos Co. has signed a deal to transfer its Internet news business to a U.S. magazine company for US$25 million.
Daum said in a statement that it sold Wired.com, a supplier of information technology news, to U.S.-based CondeNet in order to focus on its core business, such as multimedia contents services.
