More offshore funds are being marketed in Britain than ever before. According to a survey of 45 firms by the Investment Management Association, 19% of assets under management in Britain are domiciled offshore.
With Fidelity announcing last month that 16 of its offshore funds have now got UK distributor status, and Nordea applying for distributor status on its Nordea 1 Sicav range, this figure looks set to increase.
