Chris Jenks runs No. 4 this year, but he'd much rather have the No. 1 plate. Last year with the now-defunct Four-Stroke Tech team, Jenks had what can be described as his breakthrough season. Everything clicked and he started finishing at the top consistently. This included an overall win at the Yadkinville GNCC.

This year, he wants more improvement. But, as he is finding out, once you crack the top five, it is a lot harder to advance. The talent at the top is extremely strong this year.
