The WORCS racing series returned to Southern California for the second time this year. Round 4 was held at Racetown 395 in Adelanto. Like the last SoCal round, the racer turnout was huge. More than 470 riders entered, just missing the record turnout for the Taft, Calif., race.

Racetown 395 is not too far from Glen Helen Raceway, which was good for pro Doug Eichner, who had a tight schedule. He was going to attempt to run the White Brothers 4-Stroke Nationals at Glen Helen Sunday and compete in the WORCS Pro class, which also ran Sunday. However, Eichner wasn't the only racer hurrying at this round. ...
