It's no surprise that nursing, a field that is currently experiencing a crunch in available staff, is the driving force behind an increased interest in adult education classes.
"Anything in the technical area of the health and medical industry is in high demand right now. We're just starting to see pick-up right now because people becoming aware that's where the jobs are. It's really catching on," said Sid Abramowitz, principal of J.M. Wright Technical High School in Stamford.
