Jul. 12--GOLIAD -- County Judge Harold Gleinser is keeping a promise he kept on the courthouse lawn in December 2003. During the dedication of the renovated Goliad County courthouse that day, Gleinser said, "I will be a good steward of this building. You have my word on it as long as I'm here." Now with continuing unresolved issues almost three years later -- a leaking roof, cracks in the wall of the district courtroom and problems with some of the tiles on the first floor -- the judge and county commissioners voted Monday to seek legal action against the project's architect and contractor.
