Jul. 13--LIMA -- While Civic Center board members wanted to clear the air with Allen County commissioners Wednesday, the commissioner who publicly offered his frustration with the facility's finances was absent.
Commissioner Greg Sneary was vacationing and unable to accept an invitation from the Veterans Memorial Convention Center board. Commissioners Sam Bassitt and Dan Reiff did attend and gave their support to board members and the Civic Center.
"The opinion of one commissioner may not be the opinion of all commissioners," Reiff said.
Bassitt complimented board members on their efforts.
