EVERETT, Wash. - Chris Minaker ripped two-out RBI single in the bottom of the ninth Monday night to lead Everett to a 6-5 victory over the Eugene Emeralds in Northwest League play.
Everett's Leury Bonilla led off the bottom of the ninth with a double off Emeralds reliever John Kirby (0-2), who was rocked for four runs by the AquaSox on Saturday night.
The right-handed Kirby retired Ogui Diaz when his bunt attempt hit him, and then struck out Gavin Dickey before Minaker ended the game with his third hit of the night.
