Since December, the entertainment press has been treating the filmmaking awards divvied by various groups between Jane Campion, writer-director of ``The Piano,'' and Steven Spielberg, producer-director of ``Schindler's List,'' as a kind of horse race, with the Oscars clearly the finish line.
But if it's a race, Campion wants no part of it.
Based in Australia, she wants to make it clear that she is ``delighted'' by the awards and nominations her film has garnered (most recently, eight nominations for Academy Awards, including best picture and director). But in fact, she's a bit nonplussed by the attention.
