Indian Ministry of Health bags award for tobacco control
Washington, July 15 (PTI) India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has bagged an American award for its efforts and commitment to tobacco control.
The Luther L Terry Award of The American Cancer Society for International Tobacco Control efforts is in the category for "Exemplary Leadership" by a Government Ministry.
Minister for Health and Family Welfare Anbumani Ramadoss received the award at a ceremony during the World Conference on Tobacco or Health here yesterday.
