Whatever the Jacob Zuma trial has done, it has done little to make us trust politicians more. Even if Zuma was framed, it says little about the inspirational nature of modern politics. Just when the world is descending into confusion, there seems to be a shortage of leaders. And we need leaders most in times of confusion.
