BET founder Bob Johnson and The Weinstein Co. announced a partnership to create Our Stories Films, which will produce titles in the African-American family comedy genre. TWC will have an equity stake in the venture, and JP Morgan Chase has committed $175mln in financing under terms to be negotiated.
