Jul. 18--Those candy-colored Stella scooters just got a little more valuable. In fact, they are now collector's items. A labor dispute with employees at the LML Ltd. factory in India has halted production of the Stella scooters marketed and distributed by Genuine Scooters in the United States. Officials with Chicago, Ill.-based Genuine Scooter Co. say they're unsure whether the popular retro-style scooter will ever be in production again, and the company has moved on to promoting a new scooter line. In Oklahoma City, the Stellas were the single top-selling scooter model for 2005 at Atomic Brown Scooter Shop, 4415 N Western Ave. ...
