Sweden's Ericsson to build HUF 250 mln high-speed optical network for Hungarian town
BUDAPEST. JULY 19. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE eI Ericsson Hungary, the local unit of the Swedish IT equipment provider, has won a HUF 250 mln contract to build a new end-to-end high-speed optical network for the town of Boly, in southern Hungary, the company announced Wednesday.
"Ericsson will build an optical network that will provide high-quality Triple Play services, including Internet, voice and TV," the firm said in a statement.
The town, population 3,800, will pay Ericsson over a period of five years, from the service's revenues.
