BEIJING, July 20 Asia Pulse - The unit construction cost of thermal power projects in China showed a downward trend in the 2001-2005 period, according to the China Power Regulatory Commission.

The unit cost of thermal power projects declined from 5,000 yuan (US$625) per kilowatt (kw) in 2001 to 4,000 yuan per kw in 2005, the commission said.
