As Lisle's 50th anniversary party moves forward, Lisle Woman's Club members will add a touch of their own panache to the celebration.
The organization will hold the Art of Lisle, a fine art exhibit showcasing the work of 23 living artists as well as three Lisle residents who left their artistic legacy to the community.
Event co-chairwomen Pat Abelson and Leona Conforti have thought "fine art" for the past eight months. The pair wanted to establish a distinctive indoor art-gallery show for the community. The job required establishing procedures, setting criteria and finding an appropriate venue.
