Jul. 20--IOWA FALLS -- Iowa Department of Natural Resources officials are considering possible fines against Cargill for killing fish in a stream in Franklin County.
The agency says the company generated up to 100,000 gallons of wastewater that harmed the waterway earlier this month.
Cindy Garza, an environmental specialist based in Mason City, said she will submit a list of possible violations to the DNR's legal department, including improper land application of waste materials.
