Jul. 21--DELTONA -- First, the idea was born. Then came the signs that it was meant to be.
Maria Ramos knew she was meant to work on a children's book when she stumbled across the perfect name for a main character. When she walked into a restaurant three years ago with her co-author, Wayne Joiner, she found a yellow Post-it on the floor that read: "I (heart symbol) Dudley."
