Jul. 22--TULSA -- Five Oklahomans, including the incumbent, have their sights set on the District 1 congressional seat. That number will dwindle to three after Tuesday's primary.
U.S. Rep. John Sullivan, R-Tulsa, faces competition Tuesday from two other Tulsa Republicans, Fran Mo-Ghaddam and Evelyn Rogers.
The winner will vie with Alan Gentges, a Bartlesville Democrat, and Bill Wortman, a Tulsa independent, in November's general election.
Rogers, 53, has built her campaign around representing people in need, including immigrants and those seeking better jobs.
