UK independent Black Rock Oil & Gas said Tuesday that its Arce 4 well in Colombia had initial oil flows of 30 b/d.
The well has been drilled to a total depth of 3,073 feet and intersected a gross 300-foot oil section. Oil samples taken from the well show it to be heavy with an API gravity of about 16-17[degrees]. The company noted that at room temperature the crude is liquid.
