CANBERRA, July 25 Asia Pulse - Labor environment spokesman Anthony Albanese and opposition leader Kim Beazley have clashed over the party's no new uranium mines policy.
Mr Albanese today slammed proposals for the party to abandon its longstanding policy, declaring it would not win Labor new votes.
He said Labor's current policy of no new mines was responsible economically as well as environmentally and socially.
He said his own stance was a matter of principle and he had a difference of opinion with Mr Beazley.
