KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 Asia Pulse - Kuala Lumpur City Corporation Berhad (KLSE:8508), which has posted a 17.9 per cent jump in second quarter pre-tax profit, is still scouting for a suitable new core business after completing the sale of its stockbroking operations about one and a half years ago.
"The future prospects of the group and the company are very much dependent on the completion of a new core business acquisition," it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia on July 25 when releasing its second quarter profit results.
