NEW YORK - The Council of Fashion Designers of America didn't only elect Diane von Furstenberg as its new president at Monday's board meeting - the 26 board members also approved the addition of 18 designers to the organization.
In women's wear, the CFDA is inducting Natalie Chanin of Project Alabama; Esteban Cortazar; Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra of Costello Tagliapietra; Tina Lutz and Marcia Patmos of Lutz & Patmos; David Meister, and George Sharp of Ellen Tracy. In men's wear, new CFDA members are Steven Cox and Daniel Silver of Duckie Brown.
