Jul. 25--Bruce Sutter had 300 saves. Goose Gossage had 310. Sutter went to six All-Star games; Gossage went to nine. Sutter appeared in 661 games, going 68-71 with a 2.83 ERA. Gossage appeared in 1,002 games, going 124-107 with a 3.01 ERA. Sunday, at the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, Sutter will be at a podium celebrating his enshrinement.
