How does an athlete's perception of the causes of team events relate to her feelings of satisfaction about her sport involvement? Social psychologists have identified locus of control as the basis by which individuals attribute the causes of life events. Can this attribution process affect the degree of satisfaction individuals feel about their involvement in sports, and specifically, the complex environment of team sports?
