Jul. 25--SOUTHINGTON -- Police are searching for two armed robbers who they say stole $52,000 worth of diamond tennis bracelets from a Queen Street jewelry store Saturday afternoon. Police said a man and a woman entered Ryan Jewelers, at 405 Queen St., around 2 p.m. The woman tried on a tennis bracelet, but, "When she was trying one of them on, she kept it on," police said. The man then took out a bag and instructed the clerk to fill the bag with the rest of the tennis bracelets - 11 in total, police said.
