The ESPN / BASS Women's Bassmaster Tour moves to the Deep South this week with a three-day event opening Thursday on Lake Norman near Charlotte, N.C., featuring several Oklahoma anglers.
Boaters in the field include Sheri Glasgow of Muskogee, who has a commanding lead in the women's Angler of the Year race. Kitsy Cunningham (Eufaula) and Cheryl Spencer (Tulsa) are also boaters, while B.J. Carson (Inola), Denese Freeman (Lawton), Carilyn Hill (Coweta) and Paula Tharp (Gore) are there as co-anglers, meaning they will fish for three days from the stern of ...
