Hungarian telco watchdog demands that Magyar Telekom calls AGM without delay

BUDAPEST. JULY 25. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Hungarian financial market watchdog PSZAF has called on Magyar Telekom, the country's dominant telecom firm and a unit of Germany's Deutsche Telekom, to call an AGM without delay, at the same time slapping a fine on the company for failing to comply with relevant laws.

"PSZAF has levied a HUF 6 mln fine on Magyar Telekom, and warned the firm to comply with all laws regarding its obligation to regularly inform investors," PSZAF said in a statement on Tuesday.
