Applying for financial aid can be frustrating and tedious. The forms and applications can create major headaches. But financial advisers and officers offer some tips for staying ahead of the financial aid game:
_Apply now and decide later. Every student is eligible for some financial aid, no matter what the parents' income. So apply for financial aid right away, even before applying to colleges. If you receive aid, you can always decline it, but it's harder to ask for more later.
