SEOUL, July 26 (Yonhap) - Nearly four out of every 10 infant deliveries in South Korea were made through caesarean sections in the first half of 2005, more frequently than the advised rate set by the World Health Organization (WHO), a government report showed Wednesday. The report from the Ministry of Health and Welfare showed that rate of caesarean operation-related births among the entire deliveries of 680 hospitals stood at 37.5 percent during the January-June period of last year.
