Article: Will an ombudsman boost estate agents' image?

Last week trade minister Ian McCartney said all 12,000 UK estate agents will be forced to join the Ombudsman scheme or be banned from trading. Rogue agents often bring the industry into disrepute and this latest move, should it get through the House of Commons, will no doubt be welcome news to consumers. But it may not be enough to restore their faith in estate agents.
