Jul. 26--OKLAHOMA CITY -- In a crowded field of candidates, Lt. Gov. Mary Fallin and Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett are headed to a runoff election in Oklahoma's 5th Congressional District. Meanwhile, facing only token opposition, U.S. Rep. John Sullivan won renomination Tuesday to his Tulsa-centered 1st District Congress seat. In the 5th District, with all precincts reporting, Fallin had more than 34 percent of the vote while Cornett had 24 percent. Corporation Commissioner Denise Bode was in third place with almost 19 percent. Because no candidate received a majority, the top two candidates advance to an Aug. 22 runoff election. ...
