A CORONER has ruled that bullying played no part in the death of a 15-year-old Birmingham schoolgirl.
But Anna Marie Averill's mother today insisted that she would always believe her daughter's confidences about playground tormentors at Hill-crest School, in Bartley Green.
City Coroner Aidan Cotter recorded a verdict of accidental death on Anna Marie, who was found hanged in the back yard at her home in Woodhouse Road, Quinton.
Earlier Jennifer Nicholas, who ran a local drop-in centre, said Anna Marie had spoken to her repeatedly about being bullied.
