You can't predict what will happen at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, an annual performing and visual arts gala of theater, dance, comedy and more held in venues throughout Minneapolis. Shows are unjuried, uncensored and usually - at least for now - unknown, so the arena is open to anything and anyone, be they accomplished artists or hopeful amateurs. The nation's largest nonjuried performing arts festival, it will feature 903 performances this year from Aug. 3 to 13.
