80TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION What: Annual celebration of the filming of 1927's "The General" - the Buster Keaton film made in Cottage Grove during the summer of 1926 When: Aug. 4 and Aug. 5 Where: A screening of the film will be on the evening of Aug. 5 at the Cottage Grove Community Center, and tours of film sites, including the spot where the "Texas" went down, also will be on that day.
