Jul. 26--Cape Cod Healthcare's credit rating has been put on watch by debt rating agency Standard & Poor's.
Citing the organization's poor financial performance in 2005 and early 2006, the agency issued a change Monday in its "rating outlook" for Cape Cod Healthcare -- warning that it might downgrade Cape Cod Healthcare's rating for a second time in three years.
Cape Cod Healthcare operates Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Falmouth Hospital, the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod and other health services in the region.
