Libertyville's Franciscan friary will host its 53rd annual summer festival Sunday, featuring its famous chicken dinner and family entertainment.
The festival will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Marytown is at 1600 W. Route 176, Libertyville. For information, call (847) 367-7800.
The Henny Penny chicken dinner will be from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to chicken, the dinner includes coleslaw, baked beans, salad and rolls. The cost is $9.
The festival also will include children's games, a silent auction, disc jockey and a Hidden Treasures Resale.
