THE Wimbledon Puppy Derby success of Droopys Tops was quite a boost for Doon trainer Pat Buckley as he prepares for tomorrow's Boylesports Champion Stakes final at Shelbourne where he is doubly represented by the strongly fancied Good Dog Jack and Droopys Wells.
Buckley trained Droopys Tops up to last month and the son of Blackjack Tom won two of his three races in Ireland. Having been surprisingly beaten in the first round of an unraced stake at Longford, he then went on to win the semi-final and final by wide margins in 28.47sec ...
