It's like a law of nature--everything that goes down will come back up and likewise, everything that goes up will come down. If you need proof, just look at the market for aerial work platforms (AWPs).
Six years ago, the aerial work platform industry was riding high, pushing tens of thousands of AWPs out the door as fast as they could be made. The rental equipment industry was taking on new machines so fast that it often got six month's rent out of a machine before even paying for it. Those were the good ol' days.
