Jul. 30--When an Oklahoma City Zoo employee is declared "employee-of-the-month," part of the prize package includes four hours of telling the boss what to do and how to do it. That's why zoo director Bert Castro recently donned his weathered zookeeper boots -- kept in his office for just this kind of occasion -- and cleaned up bison manure in the 102-degree heat. "It's a great way to know what's going on out there," Castro said. Castro's job is a unique one; only 211 similar positions exist in the United States.
